A cat suit that appears in both 428: Shibuya Scramble and Time Travelers. In both games, the suit is inhabited by an unidentified female character. In 428: Shibuya Scramble: Tama, a person of unknown identity, is working inside a cat suit as a by-the-day temp worker for Yanagishita in order to buy a special necklace she found at a general store. She begins her work of promoting a diet drink, "Burning Hammer." [Edited from Wikipedia] Her true identity is revealed to be Maria Osawa, Hitomi's twin sister and Kenji Osawa's daughter. The Tama mascot also appear as: —One of Sasayama's disguises in a Bad Ending, where it's revealed that the costume is a CATS (Costume As Transmission System), a robotic suit capable of dimensional travel. —Several guides within the Labyrinth that lead Minorikawa through it. In Time Travelers: A mysterious woman who appears in the story wearing a cat costume. Her identity is a mystery. Tama's real identity is an iteration of Mikoto Shindou, from one of her many time loops in the story.

A resident of Shibuya whose twin sister, Maria, has been kidnapped. With the help of the police, she attempts to pay off ¥50 million to the kidnapper, but things take an unexpected turn at the exchange.

Organizer of the Burning Hammer sales demo. He hired Tama and Chiriko to help promote and sell the Burning Hammer bottle. Yanagishita spent one million yen to purchase 300 bottles, and plans to sell each bottle for 15,000 yen to gain a profit. He's in debt with the Takarada Financing, and is trying to avoid the debt collectors until the sales demo is finished.

A security assistance officer from the U.S. Embassy. He joins Kano during his investigation of the kidnapping case. In actuality, Stanley is a CIA agent attempting to uncover and take down Alphard as revenge for his brother's death.

A Middle-Eastern girl who has ties to the American CIA and the mastermind of the kidnapping plot. She first appears as "Canaan", masquerading as Oosawa Maria's friend to gain the trust of Oosawa Hitomi.

Leader of a foreign crime syndicate operating within Shibuya. Working for the kidnapper/mastermind of the Osawa twins' case, he leads the ransom money relay among the members of his syndicate.

Achi and Suzune's father. Owner of Endo Electronics. Daisuke is an alum from Tokyo Denko University, attending on a full scholarship. His knowledge in electronics and worry about delinquent activity led him to develop the local surveillance system used throughout Shibuya's shopping districts. Daisuke is the culprit of the kidnapping case, having mistakenly kidnapped Maria while attempting to capture and kill Hitomi for a heart transplant for his daughter, Suzune. He was coerced into the crime as part of Alphard's master plot to steal the Ua antiviral.

Hitomi and Maria's English professor. He's been a lecturer at Midoriyama Academy for the past 6 months. He and Hitomi both witnessed Maria's kidnapping. Leland has actually been a member of Snake the entire time. He infected Hitomi with the Ua virus, and contacted Daisuke Endo as an "organ trafficker" to lead him into attempting to kidnap Hitomi. He poses as his leader, Alphard, during the finale while the real Alphard attempts to infiltrate Okoshi Pharmaceutical.

A fighter at the cosplay fighting pub Bride. Yanagishita is one of her biggest fans at the bar. In middle school, she had been Japan's bonsai champion. She took up martial arts at Midorikawa's suggestion.

Employee of Cho-Nippon Printing Company's Sales Department, Division #1. He was recently assigned to handling Heaven Publishing after his predecessor, Sachio Usui, was admitted to the hospital following a car crash earlier that day. He follows a strict deadline and pressures Minorikawa to submit the next edition of Four-Star General Gossip to press earlier than planned.

Operations Director for the kidnapping case. Whenever he gets overly flustered, excited, or panicked, he slips into a childish register, prone to babbling and pitching his voice. Kuze has a brother (Monday), six years his senior, who despite being nominally mature refuses to get a real job and shows no inclination to settle down with a family.
